News on HF Defend Council Homes

Thank you to those of you who have already responded to the consultation on the Defend Council Homes Policy. We can see from your responses that residents of our council homes love where you live, and why it is so important that you are involved in any decision about your home's future.

You'll have read that we worked with council residents to develop the policy. It aims to protect your interests and make sure that if there are any redevelopment proposals affecting your home in the future they can’t go ahead unless you’ve had the opportunity to be fully involved from the very beginning.

It's important that we get a big thumbs-up from residents for the policy, because the greater the support for the policy, the stronger its protection will be.
